Psychic erosion, invisible wounds, and the dynamics of retraumatization.

How is trauma imprinted on the body and memory? How does it shape the way we move, relate, and perceive the world? And ultimately, how do we overcome it?

The stage action focuses precisely on this embodied memory, with the performers revealing the mechanism through which trauma is unconsciously reproduced — like an internal loop that repeats again and again.

The work does not offer easy answers. Instead, it creates a field of awareness in which the audience does not remain an external observer. The experience functions as a mirror: spectators are moved, recognizing patterns, silences, and tensions that resonate with their own memories. The personal becomes collective, and the stage becomes a place of shared recognition, vulnerability, and — perhaps — healing.

CREATOR’S NOTE
The body experiences trauma throughout time, both physically and psychologically. Since the moment humans began creating stories and images, trauma has been a fundamental source of inspiration.

In our work we follow the journey of a body through the world of trauma, as it is shaped by the collective archetypal images of humanity.

Body and Trauma inevitably meet on a path that is both familiar and unfamiliar, moving — almost hypnotically — within the half-light.
